The favorite month from each quarter is upon us! This year’s June report is the first time cracking the $500 in dividend threshold for me. This is an excellent milestone to pass over and I’m looking forward to the next big one at $1,000!
First up is my Roth IRA account, leading the charge with a healthy 11.6% increase from last year. The majority of the increase is from upping my Ford (F) position. Everything else is the result of dividend increases!
12-month dividends for this account are now $2,504.62 after ending last month at $2,489.21. I’ll be making a purchase in this account as soon as my dividends have pooled to a nice pile of cash.
Boom! 66.4% increase since last year. This is from my 401k rollover and a bunch of new portfolio additions. Exciting to see such a huge jump and this will make this account much more productive.
Forward 12-month dividends for this account are now $2,079.27 after ending May at $2,004.02. At this current forward 12-month dividends, I’ll be able to make about one portfolio addition each year.
Modest growth since last year with some sales and buys in my brokerage account. Hoping that this account gets some more consistent growth going forward as I keep pumping more cash into this account on a monthly basis.
Forward 12-month dividends for this account are now $862.39 in comparison to $859.38 at the end of May. This will be my main investment vehicle going forward, so I’m looking forward to future results.
In total, my dividend income for the month of June 2019 was $517.09, up 25.4% from my June 2018 total of $412.21. Another awesome increase year over year. Hopefully my quarter end month will never see less than $500 again!
Forward dividend income now sits at $5,446.28 up from $5,352.61 for a total increase of $93.67, or 1.75%. Keep on growing, keep on growing. The march to $10,000 in forward dividend income begins!
